Determine user or group access rights. The Management Central module provides administrators the ability to choose a specific user or group and generate a report that details all sites, areas, and lists the user has access to. This will be a full snapshot that details every item the user has access to and can be used for inventory or audit purposes.

Determine site, area, or list membership. The Management Central module provides administrators the ability to choose an area, site, or site collection and generate a report that details the membership and access rights (users, groups, security settings, and permissions).

Register Users for a site. In order to assign a task item to a user, the specific user must have already "participated" in the site in order for their name to appear in the "Assign To" list. Thus, you can only assign task items to people who have already navigated to the site. The Management Central module allows Administrators to automatically "register" all users or specific users with the click of a button. There is no need to send an email to users asking them to navigate to the site.
